1. IRobot Roomba i3+ EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ has self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ an excellent option for those looking for an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience but don't mind having to empty their dust bin manually when it is full.
Both robots are proficient in removing dirt and dust particles on carpets and hard floors and can navigate around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software creates a smart maps of your home that assist the i3+ to navigate and clean up efficiently. The i3+ isn't able to have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots we tested. It may get stuck on power cords or socks and have difficulty navigating between different surfaces like rug and hardwood.
iRobot recommends that you tidy up the area where the i3+ EVO vacuums before using it. This includes putting away any toys or other items it might encounter. It's also an excellent idea to keep the bin and filter clean so they do not become blocked by dirt. When the i3+ EVO’s internal bin is empty or the battery is depleted, it returns to the docking station, and it automatically empties the dirt into the station’s external dustbin. It then continues cleaning from where it started. The i3+ EVO's battery lasts for about an hour and a half continuous use, and it takes around three hours to recharge.
2. iRobot Roomba i7+

The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot, and it has the most up-to-date features. It's self-charging, self-navigating and -- the most important feature of all -- it comes with a self-emptying dustbin that eliminates one of the most important sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba I7+ can map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also integrates with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and direct your robot by voice or via the app.
The i7+ is faster and more maneuverable in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. The biggest advantage over the Eufy is its self-emptying bin which eliminates the main sources of maintenance and reduces recurring cost.
We were also awestruck by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning session, move itself around the room, and even vacuum the area. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ to these services. Once connected, we were able to give the i7+ voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and evaluating the performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
In a world filled with vacuums that are cordless and feel like minivans or buses, this tiny Dyson model feels like a sports car. The main drawback of the V10 is its limited run time. The tests conducted by CR show that its marketing claims of up to 60 minutes are misleading. This is a common, not exceptional, battery-powered cordless vacuum's run time. This is enough time to sweep the average-sized home however, it's not enough time to reach every area. (A second run usually works). This doesn't mean that this model isn't a good choice It's lighter and more agile than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming performance is significantly better on carpets with low pile.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
One of iRobot's most adored robot vacuums The 694 is an affordable model that's an excellent choice for people who don't want to spend too much on a robotic. It could pick up the majority of types of debris and sizes in our tests and would often go over the same area several times to ensure a thorough clean. Its flat front allows it to reach the corners and the edges of walls.
Its intelligent navigation system makes use of iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it isn't equipped with the mapping capability of more sophisticated models like our top picks and the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series. It is prone to getting stuck on phone cords or furniture and is often unable to supply power before returning to its home base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways to the Roomba 694, as it has less parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, has a lower costs for recurring expenses and has more advanced automation capabilities and is better able to navigate its own. It also has a larger dustbin and is charged faster.

In our tests in our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors. It cleaned up 86% of dog hair (on carpet). However, it did not do particularly well with larger objects, like cords and socks which was disappointing. However the HRV 425BL continued to move across the border, but it didn't register it as a cliff. The ability to program a cleaning schedule for each week is a time-saving advantage.
